Proposed Ground Floor Retail and Restaurants
CMS is targeting a very specific mix of smaller, boutique and artisan tenants for the retail component of THE MISSION. We seek to assemble a tenant mix that includes a frommagerie, a chocolatier, a wine boutique, a toiletries boutique, organic and green products, dessert shops, a gelateria, a gourmet coffee shop, a gourmet tea shop, an art/architecture bookstore, an art supplies store, and at least one bakery café. We seek restaurants with a similar vibe to the hugely popular Hugo’s, Tender Greens, Akasha, Joan’s on Third, Toast, Quality Food, Doughboys, Ammo, Porto’s Bakery, Cici’s Café, Little Café, and Kings Road Café in the Los Angeles area. Las Vegas locals, the creative class, and the arts community are clamoring for good places to eat a healthy and/or organic breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the Las Vegas area that is not associated with a hotel/resort. We will attempt to convince most retailers and food establishments to consider longer operating hours to accommodate both the morning breakfast crowds and the late night crowds that will be attracted to THE MISSION for its special events and art experience programming. It will also be essential that the restaurant tenants have catering menus and staff capability because the every event held in the parking structure penthouse event space will be catered by one or more of the ground floor restaurant tenants.
