The Mission Las Vegas

THE MISSION LAS VEGAS is seeking the following:

ARTISTS:

• Approximately 480 linear feet of interior art exhibit space available each month in our eight 20′ x 30′ gallery areas beginning in 2011.  Minimum of 20-30 linear feet per artist exhibit.  Each artist’s entire digital portfolio will be archived on our website along with artist profiles and links to your website.

MUSICIANS:

• Singer/songwriters and acoustic bands are encouraged to apply for 60-90 minute live late evening performances on the Main Stage.  As compensation for your performance, you will be given a DVD of the raw live digital footage of your performance (from 2-3 cameras) for use in marketing/promoting yourself.  Your performance, along with weblinks and profile information on you, will be archived on our website.

• High school and college jazz bands, orchestras, choirs, and theatre groups are encouraged to apply for 60-90 minute live early evening performances on the Main Stage.  THE MISSION will feature live music from the high school and college music programs nightly.  100% of the net proceeds from bakery case sales from the day of your performance will be donated to your music/theatre program.  Your performance, along with links to your program’s website, will be archived on our website.

BARISTAS:

• We’re seeking the best of the best baristas to work at and manage our coffee bar.  Certification is not necessary but encouraged.  You will be our customers’ liaison to the world of artisanal specialty coffee.  You will be educating and inspiring just as much as you will be brewing, tamping, and cupping.  You must have a passion for all things coffee and a great personality.

HOME BAKERS and PASTRY CHEFS:

• If you know of anyone that makes an amazing muffin, scone, cookie, cake or croissant, we need you to have them contact us!  Our bakery case will be entirely stocked with goods purchased from home bakers and pastry chefs with some extra time on their hands.  All net proceeds from the markup of these bakery case items will be donated to local area high school music and theatre programs in what will become an on-going year-round fundraising bake sale.

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION EXECUTIVE OFFICE SUITES:

• Executive directors and office staff of Southern Nevada area non-profit organizations are encouraged to relocate to our executive office suite catering specifically to the needs of non-profit organizations.  Approximately 50 desk workstations are available for short-term or long-term rental.  Amenities include a shared conference room, a shared copy room, and WiFi internet access.
